Getting Involved
Whānau Time
Between 8:00 and 8:30am every morning teachers will be in the kainga (classrooms) to meet and greet you and your child. We welcome you to stay and explore the learning environments, look at your child’s recent work, or get involved in the morning play.
Volunteering
We welcome the sharing of expertise from across our community. If you have a skill and or passion to share please let us know! There will also be opportunities for volunteering to help out on school trips camps etc.
WHoNS (Whānau & Friends of Ngākōroa School)
This is an enthusiastic and welcoming group of people from our community who find fun and innovative ways to support our kura: welcoming new whanau to school during cohort entry week, fundraising for new resources, taking care of our grounds and gardens.
